Dorene Nolan has been studying and practicing herbal medicine for the last 8 years. She holds a BS from Rutgers University in Nutritional Science and has certification in Herbal Medicine from the N.E. School of Botanical Medicine and from Herbal Therapeutics School of Botanical Medicine. Currently she teaches classes, leads herb walks, and provides health consultations in the Mt. Airy community.

   

Happenings

Sunday Night Dinnerz
Meet and share a meal together with other like minded people of your community.  Bring a dish and questions on herbal medicine.

Herbal tea will be served.

Location:  MAHAS, 7149 Germantown Avenue
Time:  Every 1st  Sunday at 6:30pm beginning in March
Cost:  Free, please bring a dish of food

Fundamental Herbal Medicine Course
This 12 class program is a beginner’s course focusing on traditional and current Herbal Medicine practices.  We will discuss history, current issues, protocols for the body systems, material medica, and plant identification.  Upon completion a certificate will be provided.

Location:  MAHAS, 7149 Germantown Avenue
Time:  Thursdays, beginning April 4th, 6:30-9:00
Cost:  $500, $475 if paid in full.

Workshops at Weaver’s Way Coop
Dorene will be teaching a couple of workshops at Weaver’s Way Coop, free to members.  Check with AsarumBotanicals.com or Weaver’s Way Coop  for dates and times.

 Health Consultations:
Initial visit:  $40-70 sliding scale (medicines not included)

Follow-up visits:  $35

During the initial visit we will discuss in-depth your health concerns, physical, emotional and spiritual state and health history.  Together we will develop a healing protocol specific to you, including herbal and nutritional remedies complemented by lifestyle modifications.

Herbal Workshops
